Handmade Music is a guitar/piano duo with pianist Marc Irwin and guitarist Barry Heimowitz. Their first self-titled album was released in 2010. Their second album, Musica Salutaris is an online release, 2019-2020, with tracks being added throughout the year. Currently there are three tracks: “Things That Do Not Burn” and “Evening Song”, by Irwin and “Welcome” by Heimowitz.

Marc irwin produced, music directed, performed and added orchestral sweetening to this inspirational song from the broadway musical “Bridges of Madison County”, music by Jason Robert Brown.
June, 2019: Dan Schwait's CDBaby release of "You Are Too Beautiful"
Baritone/tenor Dan Schwait and music director/arranger/producer Marc Irwin release “You Are Too Beautiful” on CDbaby. Schwait is supported by violin, viola and double bass on this beautiful standard from the American songbook composed by Rodgers and Hart.
May and June, 2019: Annapolis Shakespeare Company’s Production of "Oliver".
Marc Irwin was the musical director/conductor/pianist for this wonderful production composed by Lionel Bart based on the Charles Dickens novel “Oliver Twist”. This adaptation ran for five weekends in May and June of 2018. Irwin led a three piece ensemble and electronically scored the production.
March, 2018: New York City premiere of String Quartet No. 1
Marc Irwin’s String Quartet No. 1 was premiered at the Scandinavia House on Park Avenue in New York City as part of the Dorothy Indenbaum Composers Concert hosted by the Musician’s Club of New York on Sunday March 24, 2019.
